My Mesquite Nevada MLS View on the Current Mesquite Housing Market is that of a experienced local Realtor here in Mesquite Nevada who has worked as a fulltime Buyer's Agent, Seller's Agent and hardcore negotiator for my clients since I began my Real Estate career in 2005.

Today's housing market in Mesquite is a hard one to judge. A lot of buyers were lucky enough to have came into Mesquite before 2004 which was the beginning of the big boom. Buyers were able to aquire properties for great prices. Well, in my opinion that time has returned. It's a GREAT time to buy in Mesquite Nevada. There is a method to this madness and that is picking out the right property to buy. When I dentifying those properties there are several issues that need to be looked at and followed with care. First of all, choose a GOOD buyer's agent that will represent you in your home purchase. Things need to be done with care and knowledge. Second of all, make sure the property you choose is one that you LIKE! Thirdly, look at the seller's position, the seller may have lots of room to negotiate if they purchased 4-5 years ago.

On a good note for buyers, propertry prices are dropping on some properties to that of pre-2004. This is a great chance for buyers to jump in an acquire some great properties for a great price.

Greetings from Mesquite Nevada!!

With the current housing market in a so called decline, sellers are having a hard time lowering their listing prices and their homes, condos and most any type of property continues to clog the market with overpriced and unsold properties. The housing market in Mesquite Nevada has drastically changed in the last three years. We went from a 100% appreciation housing market to maybe a 30% to 50% appreciating market for those who have held their properties for a five or so years.

In reality, this 30% to 50% is a GREAT profit to sellers who actually are able to make it! With this said, buyers and sellers are able to come to a fair selling price for the properties in this so said declining market.

Mesquite Nevada is a different place than most. There are people buying homes, condos and townhomes in Mesquite every day!! The buyers are VERY happy with what they can get compared to three years ago when there were only 40 places on the housing market in Mesquite. it's good to see buyers and sellers coming to an agreement that benefits them both. It's also good to see the buyer's agent and seller's agent showing their clients that times are not really that bad.

Some of the folks who came in at the end of the big appreciation market, well...they bought at the wrong time and there's not a darned thing they can do except take the loss and move on, hoping for better luck next time.
